Located just a short, 35 minute drive from downtown New Orleans, Joe's Landing is the popular jumping off point for inland freshwater and saltwater fishing in one of Louisiana's most productive marine fisheries, the Barataria Estuary.

More than simply a place to launch or store your boat, Joe's is a full service recreational marina with waterside accommodations, covered and secured boat storage, back-down launch ramps, a "quick" hoist, fuel dock, live bait, ice, fuel, refreshments, fishing licenses, casual dining AND MORE.

Since 1970, Joe's has been the host of countless fishing rodeos. Whether your group includes 2 or 2000 people, we have the experience, the staff and the space needed for your rodeo, fund raiser or event to succeed.

Joe's has over 7 acres of convenient, onsite parking. Even when many boaters are using our marina, there is plenty of space for everyone with parking to spare.

Joe's offers guided fishing trips. Our 15+ guides are U.S. Coast Guard licensed and excel at finding fish. We use powerful, well-maintained bay type boats averaging 23' in length. For your fun and peace of mind., the boats are equipped with both safety devices and quality fishing equipment.

Joe's is the place for ecotours too. The surrounding wetlands are habitat for ducks, alligator, heron, mink, deer, egret, bald eagles and countless schools of fish. Year after year, more sport fishing and ecotour operators leave from our dock than any other in the New Orleans area. Most guides specialize in inland fishing but Gulf Coast beaches and surf fishing are within easy reach as well.
